Johnny Cedillo Flores

On August 28, 2024, a heart of gold stopped beating and hard working hands are now resting. Johnny Cedillo Flores, 65, of Phoenix Arizona passed away. On this day, this world lost a true legend. He religiously worked out every day. In the late 1970’s, Johnny trained to be a boxer, he had many amateur fights and one professional fight in Vegas. He was a Bruce Lee mega fan, and an action movie extraordinaire. He could whoop anyone on the basketball court and outrun anyone in a street race. He was a content creator with his iPhone 17 (according to him) and an unpaid comedian. Johnny was known for making every person he ever encountered laugh. He was an all-around handyman and could repair anything, he was the best plumber around, and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He made up his own famous skit, running through alleys and streets screaming “Godzilla is chasing me” just to make others laugh. He had the most generous heart and always loved to share what he had, even if it was very little. He reminded everyone frequently that he was a track star at Ann Ott Elementary School in 1967. He was also known for his many made up phrases such as yumbo yack with esprite, daddddyy, that’s bow wow, and weee dawgie. He was always sharply dressed and would often say “This is how I roll.” His happy place was at the park talking to the ducks. He loved his childhood friends and enjoyed getting together with them to talk about old times. He loved his daily walks and bike rides, his morning coffee and keeping up with the daily news. But most importantly, and above all else, he was Dad and Grandpa. He was always caught admiring his kids and grandkids from afar when in the same room.

He is survived by his children, Flora (spouse Angel), Lisa (spouse Harry), Minnie (spouse Chacho) and John (spouse Shannon). His grandchildren,Daiman, Hadyn, Haylee, Nathan, Marcus, Christian, Mason (spouse Liberty), Madison, Matthew, McKinzee and Manhattan. His great grandchildren, Aviana, Izaiah, Dailan and Cruz and his grand pups Miley, Madea, Billie Jean, Charlie, Palomo, ChiChi, and Marley. Johnny never missed an opportunity to announce to anyone around, including his other kids, that his youngest daughter Minnie, was his favorite child and she was daddy’s girl. All of his jokes, funny stories, and his legacy, will forever be kept alive. He was an animal lover who was obsessed with all his grand pups. They were pretty crazy about him as well. Our family would like to share all of the footage he made throughout the years. We have dedicated a Tik Tok page to him “Johnny Flores The Legend.” Our beautiful dad will live on in our hearts forever and his kids and grandkids all have a piece of him. We will always be proud to say we came from the famous Johnny Flores. He was a huge fan of Fast and the Furious and took it really hard when Paul Walker passed away. We’re imagining him in Heaven now riding shotgun and cruising around with him. Dad, we will live our lives to make you proud. There will never be another. Forever young you will always be. We love you!
