Joyce Ann Roberts (Joy) of Sun City, Arizona unexpectedly passed away on September 24, 2017. She was born on December 6, 1939 to Thomas and Roberta Wilkes. Joy grew up in Wellsville, Ohio and moved to Arizona in 1968. She retired from the Arizona Department of Corrections and was an active member with her church. Joy is survived by two sisters, Janet Mobley and Donna Barnes; an uncle, Paul Stillwell; four children, Brian Roberts, Carla Bruessel, Lisa Roberts, and Lori Roberts; six grandchildren, Scott Harris, Brianne Razcon, Heather Roberts, Christa Bruessel, Joel Bruessel, and Jessica Barrett; and six great grandchildren, Faith Roberts, Lily Harris, Shane Harris, Xavier Razcon, Ariella Razcon, and Jude Barrett. Services will be held at First Baptist Church Sun City (11019 West Peoria Avenue, Sun City, Arizona 85351) on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Sun City Benevolence Fund. Arrangements under the direction of Advantage Golden Door Chapel, Youngtown, AZ.
