Rebecca Ann Gill

Rebecca Ann Gill (Kleiss) was born to Ray and Flora Kleiss on December 16, 1978. She was born in Subic Bay Naval Base, Philippines. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 23, 2022, in Peoria, AZ.

Becky and her family moved to Monterey, CA as a toddler and then to Clinton, IL. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1997 and was crowned Home Coming Queen alongside her brother Jeff as Homecoming King. She was active in track, volleyball, school and church choirs, and loved singing as a ministry for God. Singing was her passion.

She always knew she wanted to teach children so after college Becky moved to Arizona and got her Bachelors of Education at University of Phoenix. She married Jordan Gill on October 20, 2006. She was a teacher at Challenge Charter School and most recently at Parkridge Elementary School. Becky was an active member of Journey Church, where she put her passion of worship and children on display every week. She loved her church and teaching children about God, especially her own as she led Maya and Mackenzie to know HIM and accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Rebecca Ann Gill is survived by husband Jordan Gill, daughters Maya and Mackenzie, parents Ray and Flora Kleiss, In-laws Jim and Deretha Gill, brother and sister in-law Zac and Megan Gill, sisters Joy Kleiss, Emmabelle Ornias, and Faith Dick. Brothers Ricardo Ornias and Adam Kleiss. Uncle Mark Kleiss, Uncle John and Briget Kleiss, and Aunt Alice Kleiss. Rebecca was preceded in death by brother Jeff Kleiss, grandparents Mary and Floyd Kleiss, Guadalupe and Jose Ornias, Uncle Joe and Paquito Ornias, and Uncle Tim Kleiss.
