He was born in Illinois, a son of the late John and Dorothy Barczak.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years of marriage, Kristen Barczak.
Robert retired in 1998 after 30 years of service with AT&T. He was a Veteran of the U.S.Army.
Robert enjoyed car racing, dancing, music, playing cards and playing Pickleball.
In 2005 he became a referee for Pickleball, he loved volunteering.
He became one of the first of five referees to become a Certified Pickleball Referee in 2016.
He refereed for 21 years and enjoyed watching Pickleball on TV.
He is also survived by the Mother of his children, Carolyn Barczak, one son Robert John Barczak, Jr.(Lori), one Grandson, Robert William Barczak, one daughter, Wendy Barczak. One sister, Marie (Henry) Jasica, Brother In Law Marvin Banta and several nieces and
nephews and several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed spending time with his neighbors and friends.
