

Tom was born on July 1, 1947, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and grew up in Missouri Valley, Iowa. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring MSGT after 20 years and 15 days of dedicated service. He participated in the Honor Flight in May 2023.
Following his military career, he worked as a Building Engineer at Chase Bank Towers in downtown Phoenix having completed 28 years, and retiring in December 2014. During his employment with Chase, Tom was involved in supporting the training of the Fire Cadets Program.
Tom married the love of his life, Virginia, on October 24, 1970. They met at Luke AFB at the Square Dancing Club, and shared 55 years together, raising family and traveling together on many road trips.
Tom is survived by his wife, Virginia Sisley; his daughters, Terri Villanueva (Mondo), Julie Sisley, Alexus Sisley, and Ronnie Davis (Bridget); his grandchildren, Connor, Allison, Katelynn, and Sean; and his great-grandchild, Liam King. He is also survived by his brothers Ron, Tim, and Jim Sisley.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Olive Marie Sisley, and his brother, Don Sisley.
Tom will be remembered foremost for the love he shared with his family. His strength and dependability provided help whenever needed, and his family is forever grateful.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2026.
