Wanda Barbara Warren Des Biens passed away peacefully in Sun City, AZ on May 11, 2013. Wanda had been a resident in the Valley of the Sun for the past 32 years. She moved here from New York City in 1981, where she had been employed by Northside Savings Bank since 1948. Wanda married Robert Warren on November 6, 1937. They were married for 35 years until Robert’s death in 1972. On November 5, 1981 Wanda married David T. Des Biens. David passed away at the age of 86 in 2006. While a resident of Sun City, Wanda was co-founder of the Artistic Stained Glass Club in the Bell Recreation Center. She also belonged to the Mahjong Club and Travel Club in Sun City. Wanda is survived by her sons Robert (Michelle) and Richard Warren; grandchildren Louise (Dean) Evans and Lynn Warren and 2 great grandchildren, Nicole Lynn Evans and Alexander Casey Warren. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd. Sun City, AZ.
