Aurelio Coronado was born on September 25th, 1936, one of six children in Casa de Janos, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Ramon and Josefa Coronado. Upon becoming an adult, he migrated to Southern California in the 1960s to work in the Coachella and San Joaquin Valley. Two years later, Aurelio went back to Mexico to marry the love of his life, Esperanza. A short six months after having their first child, the family immigrated to Yucaipa to start their new life.
Once in Yucaipa, Aurelio became the Forman of the two McAnally Poultry egg farms, where he worked for 20 plus years. Aurelio was a son, a brother, a faithful husband, a loving father of four sons, and a friend to everyone he met. A stoic who spoke gently but with wisdom. And a man of morals, integrity, and honor, and a good sense of humor. Aurelio is survived by his brother Ruben and sister Obduelia and his four sons Hector, Gerald, Roberto, David, three daughters in law, twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Aurelio was, in all respects, a family man who was at his best when his children and grandchildren surrounded him. He was a simple man who loved to sit outside with a drink in hand, enjoying his farm animals and listening to the birds sing. Aurelio knew how to value the simple things in life. His legacy lives on through all the everyday things he did. He will be remembered and honored every time his family shares a meal or reminisces about times past.
