Christi and I were in the same class our junior and senior year at Bloomington Christian School. My Mom, Carol Wilson, taught 2nd grade at the school and Christi was her teacher’s aide for two years. My Mom dearly loved Christi. They both were quick witted and I imagine had a lot of fun when they were  working together. Christi and I played high school sports together and she always made the long bus rides, practices, and games more fun with her amazing sense of humor. Brandon and Christi were perfectly matched and have raised two wonderful young women.  Christi was a bright light! She had a giving spirit and loved her family fiercely. I know she will be watching out for her family from heaven and there will be a glorious reunion when they are reunited with her again. Thank you God for the gift of Christi! She blessed so many!

Christi had a beautiful and memorable smile, and she always made me laugh.  She loved her family and lived life to the fullest.  I know her legacy will carry on in her beautiful daughters, of whom she was so proud 💞

Christi was such a fun, cool aunt. She lived with us for a bit when Boyz and I were just kids and Ned was just a baby. So many nights, we would stay up late giggling. She would make us laugh so much we’d wake up my dad and he’d come out yelling at us to keep it down because he had to get up early for work the next day. 
Christi started calling me her best friend and I remember being super excited about that. But one day, my cousin Marina gave me a half of a heart necklace. Marina kept the other half and when we put it together, it said “best friends forever”. I happily wore it, but as soon as Christi saw it, she questioned me about it and said we could no longer be best friends. I remember feeling sad about it, but from then on we were “ex best friends” and she would call me “Exy” so it still felt special. And now, I am so happy to say that she called my daughter, Gwendolyn, her new best friend :)
Christi, I will miss your happy birthday text to me every year. I will miss you so much. I love you Ex Best Friend! May you rest in perfect peace. 🤍✝️

It feels surreal to be writing this. Christi you will be greatly missed! Your legend of Heinz ketchup will continue to be a staple at every family gathering. Family gathering won’t be the same without your witty banter, quick jokes, and all your sassiness. You were a wonderful daughter in law and sister in law. We love you and hope you are enjoying it up in heaven with those that have gone before you. Continue to watch over us and guide the girls and Brandon. 

Always going to miss the witty sarcasm that only Christi could get away with. She was so full of life, fun,laughter and could brighten up a room.  She's thought of and missed everyday.  See you on the other side friend. 

Christi, Terra, Torch and I went to Vegas in August of 2018. Was the best Vegas trip!!! Except I had to open every door for Christi like I was her man!!! She would just look at me like....Yes, Melissa Harkins-Lane..and? And so I literally opened every door for her lol. She truly is one of a kind! We all love you so much Christi! Until we meet again ❤

My daughter Emily and I were hanging out with Terra and Christi at Terra's house. Christi was literally teaching Emily the facts of life. She asked Emily if she's ever watched The Facts of Life. Emily said "No." Christi said "You should..cause it's legit!  You take the both and there you have!" She couldn't finish the theme song cause we were all cracking up! Could even hear Terra's contagious laugh while recording us. And Emily asked "What's happening?" That is one of many wonderful memories I will cherish with Christi. She was truly a beautiful soul. She is loved and she will deeply be missed. 

 I’ll miss your infectious laugh and the millions of jokes upon jokes you always had at the ready. I always looked forward to seeing you. I’ll see you on the next one I’m sure. Rest easy, cousin. 

Oh Christi…what to say. You are so loved and cherished by so many. It seems you’ve touched every life and every heart you’ve ever encountered. You have a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. Your sarcasm and humor created so much shock and laughter, it will be missed. I hope you know how lucky I feel to have known you. Vegas will never be the same my friend. 

Christi Marie Davis…..oh the memories you have left us! Never a dull moment that’s for sure. Always ready with a comeback. I gotta say the best time of the day was break time at work.  Our moment to sit and talk shit or vent. The best break ever was when Christi taught Delmie a new word (Q***f) and the meaning of it! Christi you have left your mark in all our lives and hearts. Christi you took me in like a stray cat and never turned your back on me. You always had something to say and a quick comeback to everything but there’s nothing I would rather hear right now.  You are loved and missed beyond measure, I can’t imagine having gone a lifetime without knowing and being blessed to have been part of your family. Keep it real up there, I know you will and rest peacefully beautiful. 

Christi is someone that played such an important and joyous roll in everyones lives. Wherever she was she always knew how to make everyone happy and laugh without a doubt. Something about her was just always full of energy and she could always turn a situation upside down for everyone to feel happy. No one, but her knew how to pretend to be a bully. She claimed to be a bully and a meanie all the time and I don’t think anyone ever believed that. Christi was the kindest, most loving, and big hearted woman there ever was. We may have had our differences here and there, but we loved her so much. I wish we had spent more time together, but all the times we did share are unforgettable. She was such a beautiful and intellectual woman who had a strong hold of what she was doing. She worked hard her entire life and made such a beautiful and spectacular thing of it. Christi was an amazing mother, wife, sister, and daughter to a big beautiful family. She made a home with her super love for Brandon and I hope she knew her whole family far and wide super loves her too. She left us too soon, but her impact, meaning, and heart still resides within this family. We will miss her dearly and always love our Miss Super Love with all our hearts as she looks down at us. Loving us and loving being apart of us you will never be forgotten until we meet again 😔💔

Thank you Christi for always treating me like family no matter what. Your laugh, smile and sense of humor will truly be missed. Im going to miss your notorious trump posts that got everyone triggered haha, your fun family parties at Chateau Davis and your love for Brandon & the girls that showed the rest of us a true love story is possible. Christi was one of a kind and I loved her sense of humor.  The one memory I have that makes me laugh is that she said she doesn't stay at hotels with outside doors.  Every time we go to a hotel, I  think of her saying does it have inside or outside doors? Outside doors are motels not hotels. Lol. She will be missed, it's not goodbye but see you later❤

My mom was my very first best friend and I don’t say that lightly. Growing up, I would say I was a mama’s girl. I was always her little sidekick. Before I started school, I remember her pulling me around in our red wagon as she walked Noelle to and from school. I remember being distraught when I finally started school myself and had to be away from her for hours at a time. She always had such a comforting aura to her that made me feel so safe. I remember one time I cut my finger while I was slicing grapes (this story always made her laugh because who cuts grapes?) and I ended up needing stitches. I called her while she was still at work and asked her to come home early so that she could go with me to urgent care. I was 21 at the time and she jokingly said, “When I was 21 I already had two kids!!” In other words, when she was 21 she didn’t have her mommy leaving work early to go with her to the doctor. I think she secretly liked feeling needed though. I will miss having her to lean on for moments like that. I will miss our deep belly laughs together over something so stupid yet so clever that she said. I will miss her for every birthday, every holiday, every life milestone, and just every day in general. She was one of a kind and can never be replaced. 

How do you put 34 years of friendship into one memory? All I know is that I was blessed to have had you as my friend as long as I did. So many good memories and laughs that I will never forget. Always there through the good and the bad. And even when it was bad we some how managed to get a good laugh in.  And just like when we were younger and we  wore the bff heart necklaces, where you had one piece of the heart and I had the other, you  have taken a piece of my heart with you and you will forever be in my heart.

I really can't believe you are gone.  I truly believe you were the glue that held the family together.  I loved your laugh and smart ass remarks.  They were everything that made you special.  

Even though I wasn't technically family, I never felt that way with you.  I was always welcome and part of the crew.  I will miss that.  

Please know that I can never take your place not would I ever want to but I can promise that your God Children will be taken care of and loved just like it was coming from you or Courtney.

Our family was blessed to have met Christi and her beautiful family just shy of 22 years ago. Both our oldest daughters were in the same kindergarten class together.  I remember walking, sometimes driving, to Palm Elementary school and always meeting up with Christi who always had a smile that spread ear to ear. Can you just see it now? We would just chitchat about everything from the girls and life in general.  When it was time to go home we would just pick up from where we left off the next day.
 
One day my husband, John came home from picking up our daughter and he got to talking to Christi. He was so excited because Christi had German Shepard puppies! He had been wanting one for such a long time. He completely felt like this was the perfect time for us to finally introduce our family to a puppy. He named her Rustie Tin-Tin. Rustie was the definitely the best dog a man could have ever asked for. She lived a very happy 13 years! 

Christi and I had a few things we talked about that bring me such great memories. Our husbands were usually the main topic. We were always remarking about how wonderful our husbands were to us. And how blessed we were. 

When her and I were unhappy with our jobs, she is one of the reasons I had the courage to leave. 

She was such a strong woman with a way of making you feel special and cared for. I’m sad that those conversations aren’t going to happen here on earth. But, I know that in heaven one day we will reconnect as if no time has passed just like back in the day. Rest In Peace My Beautiful Friend. Until we meet again 🙏🏻

i’m thankful i said yes to spending Easter Sunday of 2020 with my Aunt Christi & everyone else. i never would’ve thought that would be the best Easter Sunday i could have ever had, and i’m glad i was able to spend it with her.

I will never forget all the laughter you initiated every day at work. The numerous times you snuck into Terra’s cubical just to play tricks on her especially if she was not at her desk. Then you would just nonchalantly walk down to talk to me or someone else like you hadn’t done a thing. I know we are all so saddened and shocked that this has happened and have a hard time understanding why but I know we’ll meet again. You are truly a treasure and I’m so blessed to have known you and worked with you. Until we meet again… In the meantime try not to cause  too much trouble in heaven!!

My gorgeous mom….I’ve been hesitating to say anything cause I just can’t put how i feel into words! My entire life Christi has played such a giant role, from being best friends with my parents, to being the mother I needed when I lost mine. Christi took the title as “godmother” to a whole new level when my brother and I needed her most. Countless times Chris bailed me out of trouble, got me my necessities, and was always there for me even when I felt like I couldn’t go to anybody else. Our sassy relationship with each other always kept me so comforted and kept me at peace knowing I always had a mom. She swore she was this big bully but I’ve always felt so loved and safe when I was with her and I know she knew that. I’m so grateful to have been so close to you and I can’t wait till we meet again so we can talk our crap and laugh how we always did❤️

Christi was truly one of a kind. She brought so much laughter to the room the moment she walked in. There was never a dull moment at our family gatherings with her around. She will truly be missed. I want to thank you for the sentimental gifts for my baby shower. You will never understand how much that meant to me and how special that gift was. You were so loved! When I think of Christi, it's  her quick wit, smart ass remarks and bold opinions that come to mind. However, the lasting impressions are more of that beautiful face, generous heart and the love she had for her family and dear friends. Her tough exterior often camouflaged her vulnerable interior. She was always fun to be around and will be forever loved and missed at our family gatherings ❤️ Rest in God's arms beautiful! 

Christi was the very first friend I made working at Loma Linda. It all started by her asking if I liked to run, because my gym shoes were “running” shoes.. I replied no, I only got them because they were cute and on sale. The rest was history. I’ll always cherish the lunch time (and even on the clock) laughs, cries and office chisme. I’d tell her all the time she was my work mom, which she hated lol Christi’s the reason why I only buy & eat Heinz ketchup. One thing I carry with me to this day that christi told me was that there’s a difference between co-workers and friends. Her laugh and smile was contagious and will never be forgotten. I’ll forever be grateful that god allowed us to cross paths and remain friends after we both left Loma Linda ❤️ My love and condolences to Brandon (B-dawg as Christi would say) and the Girls ❤️

Each one of us is a spark. A flame that can go out at any given moment. Some people dim your fire and others help it get bigger and brighter. Christi was one of the few people in this world with the ability to make my fire sparkle. She was one of my biggest cheerleaders. The first one to support my art. Exchanging her home made salsa for photo shoots. Encouraging every hobby.  
I worked with her for 14 years and she made the mundane office work bearable with her humor and candid conversations. She would turn the boring office meeting into a comedy show. Egging me on and vise versa. She pushed buttons and limitations, charming everyone along the way. We liked to argue about the silly and not so silly things in life….Mostly about her habit of putting ketchup on tamales. The one thing we always agreed on was that family always came first. 
She loved her beautiful girls, husband and dogs more than anything and made sure everyone knew it.
She leaves behind a gaping hole in our hearts. Our friend group is forever incomplete. How lucky I was to have known her….To laugh, cry and share memories with her. I know she’s up there hanging out with her Brutus and making everyone laugh. Until we meet again my friend. 

Christi , I will never forget all the fun times we had from Friendsgiving to hiking dates and, the endless funny text messages we shared with one another.  Christi I will miss you dearly and thank god I had the opportunity to have met you until we meet again .

Christi touched my life in so many ways.  We worked together at Loma Linda Family in the Medical Records Department.  She taught me how to have fun.  We had Marker, pen  fights we would have marks all over us. We laughed so much together. 🤣  She loved me so much and my children  too. ❤️  We loved being around her Brandon and the girls. She taught me to be a stronger person and to stand up for myself. I will always have her in my heart and she will never be forgotten ♥️ 
My heart is broken 💔 😢 because she isn't here on Earth with all of us. But I do know she is up in heaven  and I will be with her again.

Growing up I always called Christy the mean older cousin (she was sassy) and as the the older we got I realized she was actually the super nice cousin and I started telling her that. Hosting the best family gatherings, always super nice to my kids. I admired that she was able to still be married all these years. Women in our family don’t stay married or ever get married lol. It was so fun to make her laugh, because she had the best laugh. We knew to call/text each other if we wanted the scoop about someone or something.  We would talk about how “little” babies were (insider)haha.  She loved the way my daughter said “whip gwas” (lipgloss) when she was little, so when she came to visit in San pedro, she brought her some.  So many great memories I could go on and on. She will definitely be missed!  Rest In Peace my nicest cousin ever!! 

She was my litto Mexicana … she always tried espeaking in espanish to me and I loved it.  She had always said from the moment I posted I had a boyfriend now fiancé that he was the right one for me . And he is . Our memories will always be cherished dearly. Imma miss u so much girly and our wonderful memories and our Go Cowboys fun love ya girl catch you on the flip side one day

Your heart was just too big for this place…..Im gonna really miss all the memories and fun times we shared since we were in diapers, from playing hide and seek and jumping off the sheds in your back yard on Beech to us all having to clean  your Moms house Spotless before she got home from work. Im gonna miss how much you would have the right words to say when someone got hurt “Stupid” or just a big laugh! 
You did your very best to try and get our family together on numerous occasions and for that I will always be thankful…I am so crushes that you have to leave us but so grateful to have had the privilege to call you my cousin… We will catch up again til then Rest Well  Crusty…. 

Christi will be dearly missed…she brought so much life to family gatherings! I loved how genuinely herself she was - what a rare gift and quality. One of my favorite memories of her was only the second/third time I met her. We were on a family vacation on the lake and I was scared to jump in the water and she said we would jump together and instead pushed me haha. I remember coming up for air and hearing her laugh right before she jumped in too. It was exactly what I needed and such a fun day. I will miss days like that and am saddened we won’t have more. Her love for her girls and Brandon was so evident. We will miss her ❤️

Christi I will miss you and know that you were truly loved by your family and friends. I think this picture I included of us with our masks on speaks volumes because I know  we were smiling, and laughing whether anyone else knew it or not...we always could joke around like that...I will miss you here but love that I will see you again!! 

My sister n law…. I will miss you so much. Ron and the boys will miss  you dearly!  The boys will miss there   aunt Christi. 25 years we shared so many memories, laughs, tears, lots of conversations. I learned over the years many things from you as I watched you raise girls I learned how to become a good mom.  At every gathering you would call me and make sure I had the right ketchup to remind me lol. I always  went out and bought the specific ketchup that you needed and wanted lol. You had a great heart and when I called you came running for anything I needed… babysitting, to talk, you were just there. We will never forget you. We will always love you! Ron, Bridget, Eli and Chris💕

Life just won’t be as fun without you. 
I will forever be thankful for the friendship we had. You were the kindest person and I will forever be grateful for all you did for me. 
I will miss our hikes, breakfast dates, talks, your beautiful smile and all the laughs. 
You always made all the kids feel so special and Allison loved being your birthday twin.

You were always there for us. We had many laughs. You had such a good heart. You were a great mom and I learned so much from watching you with your girls throughout the years. Christi was a wonderful daughter in law, her sarcastic sense of humor and mine got along quite well for the most part, what I treasure about her most is how happy she made my son and granddaughters from as far back as I can remember, they truly despite early hard times made the best of all they had,, she rarely missed special family occasions and she made all our family get togethers and outings fun ( beach, whale watching , Harvest crusade, birthday parties, Cody’s graduation , both girls’ graduations, Kenadi’s track meets, ugly sweater Christmas party and Easter at their house hosting probably 100 friends and family at their home,  just to name a few)I was so proud and honored to be a part , and when I had my thyroid surgery she came and stayed with me and took care of me , she Mocked my scar swelling  lump calling it a shelf and that we needed to go buy a plant to put on my neck shelf, I almost burst my stitches laughing so hard😂  HER  family meant everything to her and I’m so happy my son and she got to have their own little family  fairytale and live out their “real deal” love story , one most only dream of , you were a beautiful soul and I’m so glad We will all get to see you again , Love you Christi , enjoy eternal Peace, Paradise and your heavenly  forever home , your love story goes on 💗✝️🙏🏻😇

Christi was an amazing woman who I was so blessed to have as a friend,  I worked with Christi for 12 years and I will never forget when suddenly I disappeared from work for an entire year Christi reached out to me with a wondering heart, when I confided in her my reasonings she actually shed and shared tears with me, 
Those tears and words of kindness will remain with me always

Such a vibrant person who brought much happiness to all of us.  One of my favorite memories of Christi will be "ketchup on turkey" at Thanksgiving dinner.  My heart goes out to Brandon and the girls as you walk through this grief.

My second momma of 17 years, but that was so far from enough time. Besides the fact she gave me my best friend for life, she also gave me memories and an overabundance of laughter through the years. My earliest memory of her being when Kenadi, Amanda, Noelle and I slept on the trampoline in a tent. I looked out of the tent to see Tia (my nickname for her for so long) standing at her bedroom window just staring at us. We weren’t even awake! Her and I made eye contact and I dove back into the tent laughing. 

Can’t forget the puppy pee pads & rolled ankles, driving the truck slowly cracking up as she tries to get in, the LA fashion district Mother-Daughter trips for prom dresses, vacations, her convincing me to go cliff jumping, the late night “BE QUIET!”group texts to her girls & I when we were being obnoxiously loud, swerving the Tahoe around to send us all flying & giggling, family dinners, Bakers runs, workouts, and countless more. During my best moments she was there supporting me, and during my worst moments she was there to guide me. She was the epitome of a mother and friend and the role she played in my life can never & will never be replaced. 

We miss your smile, laugh, heart, and energy so much. You meant the world to so many of us. See you in Heaven, Tia. 

You lit up every room with your magnetic personality, beautiful smile, and loving nature.  As a child I would always stare at you in ahhh…I always thought you were so beautiful. I would shy away if I thought you had caught me staring. I’m going to miss you so much cousin, you were definitely a staple piece to our family. It will never be the same, and we will never forget you. Love you Christi… 😔

You were the very best part of me. I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. You were the most genuine person I’ve ever met. You were a fantastic mother and wife. Christi was a beautiful soul, inside and out. She lived life unapologetically, always staying true to her beliefs and heart. She was devoted to her family and those who loved her. She was the truest person I’ve ever met. What you saw was what you got, and I admired her for that. Our family will never be the same. She will be painfully missed. I love cousin friend.
