Donald Lee Colgate

Donald Lee Colgate ‘Donnie’ was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Woodrow Wilson Colgate and Donna Marie Colgate on August 25, 1951. Donnie was the youngest of three children. Donnie is survived by his brother Michael, Sister Tanna, Daughter LeeAnne, Grandson Devin, and Stepdaughter Annette. Donnie also leaves behind a host of Nieces and Nephews and friends.

On June 19, 1998, Tanna, Donnie’s sister, married Donnie to the love of his life, Debra Whitaker Colgate. For over 22 years, Donnie was a loving and passionate husband. Donnie and Debra enjoyed traveling, with a passion for fishing. Debra and Donnie traveled all over the world.

Donnie worked for the San Bernardino Unified School district for over 20 years. He was very devoted to his job. Everyone who knew Donnie couldn’t help but love him. He made such a difference in each and everyone’s life. Donnie was always a pleasure to be around, and his humor was loved by all.

Debra:

I have never known anyone to love me as my wonderful husband did.

Tanna:

He was my baby brother and my best friend.

Michael:

My brother will forever be remembered.
