

John Arthur Grenawalt, 46, passed away Sunday 12-12-2010. John grew up in Yucaipa, attended the Yucaipa Schools, and graduated from Yucaipa High School. While in Jr. High and High School he was the accompanist for the school choir and chorus’.He also accompanied for a production at Mission. In Moreno Valley he was the accompanist for “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Westside Story”.John spent his summers in Cedar City, Utah, where he took classes and volunteered at the Shakespeare Festival. He graduated from BYU, in Provo, Utah, with a major in math and a minor in music. He was also the accompanist for several musical productions while attending BYU. The next several years John worked for General Dynamics, on the Navy’s Ram Missile as a Reliability Engineer. When the Ram Missile project was completed, John moved to L.A. to work at August Industries. John’s life-long interest was Genealogy research. John is survived by his mother, Connie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dee C, and his grandparents. John was a member of the LDS Church. He was an Eagle Scout. Services will be held at a later date.
