Armida Norma Mendivil entered eternal rest at the age of 75, on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, in Yuma, Arizona.
A homemaker, she was born March 3, 1938, in Yuma. Armida loved cooking and baking. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and loved going to church. She cherished playtime with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m., at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. First Avenue, Yuma, Arizona. Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church, 505 S. Avenue B, with burial at the Garden of Meditation in Desert Lawn Memorial Park 1415 S. First Avenue, Yuma, AZ. Pallbearers include, Andrew Villarreal, Tanner Montgomery, Gabriel Villarreal, Richard Ramos, Robert Ramos and Patrick Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers, Arturo "D2" Villarreal, Noah Montgomery and Anthony Mendivil.
Johnson Mortuary took care of all of Mrs. Mendivil's funeral arrangements.
