Charles "Chuck" Rutherford went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2011. Born in Wewoka Oklahoma, August 17, 1937 he was 73 years old.
Chuck came to Arizona in 1943, he graduated from Yuma High School in 1955 and was employed by Arizona Public Service Company for 39 years, retiring in 1994. He married the love of his life Ida Jo Greer in September of 1955.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Ida Jo; son, Ron (Rosanne) Rutherford; sister, Nelda Sellers and grandchildren, Sarah, Janna, Cady Jo and Rocky Rutherford, Aaron Wise and Jennifer Nagy and six great grand children.
Chuck is preceded in death by his son, Jim Rutherford; parents, Bill and Mildred Rutherford and brother, Tom Rutherford.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Johnson Mortuary. In Lieu of flowers donations to Hospices would be appreciated.
To his friends he was "Chuck". To his family he was "Papa". He was loved by all, has touched countless lives, and will be greatly missed.
