Born in Colonial Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to William Elvin and Beth Brown Beecroft. David taught his family how to love unconditionally and to be quick to forgive. He taught his family how to work hard, serve others, and always rely on the Lord. His kind acts often went unnoticed, but he would not have had it any other way. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed.
David was a faithful servant and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He descends from a long line of stalwart pioneers, and Mexico colony residents.
He served his mission in Guatemala and El Salvador saying that was the best trip of his life.
He returned from his mission to serve 2 years in the Army at Fort Polk, Louisiana processing thousands of fingerprints during the draft.
He became a father when he married Jacqueline A. Miller who had 2 daughters, Eva and Rebekkah, that he would later adopt.
After his son Jeremie was born, the family would be sealed in the Oakland, California temple.
