Dave served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a resident of Yuma since 1983 where he worked for Union Pacific Railroad until he retired in January 2009. He was respected among friends for being loyal, trustworthy and always a man you could count on. He was a faithful and providing husband. He was a caring educator as a father, and the ultimate spoiler to his grandchildren. Dave enjoyed camping, hunting, boating and fishing, but nothing made him happier than doing all these things with his friends and family.
Dave is survived by his wife Debra; son David; daughters, Sherry and Jennifer; 6 grandchildren Melissa, Christine, Mathew, Kelly, Jessica and Ali; 2 great grandchildren, Andre, Aliyah with Amiah on the way.
Services will be held at Calvary Temple of Christ on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 1:00p.m. Graveside services will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
