Prayer for Protection
O God, Creator of all that is good and source of every blessing, you know the depths of our hearts and the needs of your children. Surround Devorah with your protective care as she rests in the peace of your eternal love. Send your holy angels to guard her soul and to comfort those who mourn. May the light of Christ, which darkness cannot overcome, guide her on the journey to your heavenly home.
Strengthen our faith as we remember her faith that trusts in your mercy, hope that anchors us in your promises, and charity that reflects your love. Keep us in communion with Devorah as we support one another through this time of grief.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
My love, you walked beside me in sunshine and storm. Your warmth wrapped around my days, voice the lullaby of my nights. I release you with a heart full of gratitude and a promise to live a life that honors the life you lived.
