

Donna J. Bennett passed away of cancer on Thursday, March 3, 2011, surrounded by her family. She was born in Mocanaqua, PA on December 13, 1931.
She graduated high school in Nanticoke, PA. She was married to Donald E. Bennett (Mr. B) for 54 years. She was a faithful U.S. Marine Corps wife for 23 years. In 1971 the family moved to Yuma. In 1977 mom and dad founded Mr. B's Bicycles which is still open today. She was also instrumental in starting the BMX track which is still racing every week.
Family events were her specialty, most of all she taught her family the value of honesty and family ties. She was always there with open arms for each and every one of us. She enjoyed bingo, painting, making crafts and humming birds. She is survived by her 4 children, Donnie (Jennifer) Bennett Jr., Daniel (Victoria) Bennett, Dean (Jennifer) Bennett, Diane (Jim) Davis; brother, David McGinn of Tennessee as well as 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bennett Sr. in November of 2007 and her mother, Pauline McGinn in August 2006.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, March 7, 2011. Services will be Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 10:00am at Johnson Mortuary. Reception immediately following burial will be at Casa Mañana Mobile Home Park.
Pall bearers will be Donnie Bennett Jr., Daniel Bennett, Dean Bennett, Jim Davis, Mike Green and Jerry Legan. Honorary Pall Bearers will be David McGinn, Joe Almodova and Richy Leon.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Yuma.
