Earl Jerome Brennan Jr., 74, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 at Yuma Regional Medical Center. He was born in Palmyra, Wisconsin on March 24, 1936.
Earl retired from the U.S. Army in May 1978 (YPG), and U.S. Post Ofiice as a Rural Mail Carrier in October 1998. He was a member of the U.S. and Military Bassmasters. He graduated from Palmyra High School. He married his high school sweetheart. He always referred to her as "That's my Laurie". Known as "Sonny" to his brothers & sisters.
Earl is survived by his wife, Laurie (Miller); sons, Kelly (Tina) Brennan, and Jimmy Brennan; daughter, Darcy (Chris) Hamel; sisters, Karen (Jim) Sault, and Barbara (Randy) Repta; brother, Gary (Karen) Brennan as well as 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Joseph and Madalyn Mae (Pollard) Brennan; brother, Russell Brennan and daughter, Lunde Zimmerman Hixon
A service will take place at 6:00pm Monday, March 7, 2011 at Oasis Church (Ave. C & 16th St.) in Yuma.
