

Elvia N. Soto, 71, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010 peacefully surrounded by her family at home. She was born November 7, 1939 in Yuma, AZ.
Elvia was retired from Yuma Regional Medical Center after 13 years of employment. She was a soldier for the Salvation Army and a member of the American Legion Post #56. She lived her life to the fullest and she bravely battled cancer for 9 years for her boys "Tony, Jaime, and Adrain" and her princess, Kayla.
Elvia is survived by her companion of 25 years, Carl Taylor; daughters, Jennifer Soto, Barbara Soto Bajo (Jaime Bajo), Elvia Soto Keist (Steve Keist), Gloria Soto Carrion (Alex Carrion), and Martha Soto; sons, Jimmy Soto and Louis (Donna) Soto; grandchildren, Tony Contreras, Jaime Arviso, Adrain Soto, Kayla Cabrales, Virginia T. Bajo, Jaime Jr. Bajo, Aaron Baughman, Branden Baughman, Tyler Keist, Tommy Soto, Timothy Soto, Joseph Soto, Yolanda Carrion, David Soto, Victoria Soto, Leo Soto, Vanessa Soto and Vivian Soto; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Elvia was preceded in death by her mother, Elvira Navarro and her beloved grandson, Joe Louis Carrion.
A viewing will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Services will be at Johnson Mortuary on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 12:00p.m. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Tony Contreras, Adrain Soto, Jaime Arviso, Jaime Bajo Jr., Aaron Baughman, and Branden Baughman.
