

Eva ( Ochoa ) Noriega completed her journey in life her on earth and began her next journey with her heavenly father on Thursday, December 8th 2011. Eva had deep roots in Yuma born to early Yuma settlers often told stories of the local culture and history in life she was a beloved daughter, mother, nana, and to all who was blessed to have known Eva she was a friend with her long devoted catholic faith she was a member of our Lady of Guadalupe and was a guadalupana, and member of the St. Annes society and salvation army home link
Eva enjoyed life taking part in community services and adult dancing clubs and also enjoyed the holiday season proudly displaying her Christmas village for which she was featured in the Yuma Daily Sun Newspaper.
As most early Yuma families Eva was proud of her 9 children, Richard (Barbra) Steve (Terri), Larry (Karla), Mario (Jenny), Diane Ramos, Connie (Manuel) Jaramillo, Arlene (frank) Estrada, the late Antonio Ochoa Jr, and the late Nancy (David ) Munoz in addition she enjoyed the company of her 23 grand children; 49 great-grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Ochoa Sr; second husband, Mike Noriega, son Antonio Ochoa Jr. and daughter, Nancy Munoz.
Eva will be escorted to her eternal resting place by her grandchildren, Dominick Ochoa, Norbert (Bimbo) Laurel, Alex Ramos Jr, Josh Ramos, Frank Estrada Jr , Patrick Estrada, David Munoz Jr. and Larry Ochoa Jr. Honorary pallbearers, include Timothy Munoz, Joseph Mendeval, Christopher Ochoa, Robert Molina, Rudy Molina, and Stephen Salazar.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. Johnson Mortuary with a rosary following, a mass will be held Thursday December 15th at 10 am at our lady of Guadalupe with burial following at Desert Lawn Memorial.
The Ochoa family would like to thank hospice of Yuma and RISE services for the special care that Eva received your special touch allowed Eva to pass peacefully.
