

Evelyn Winkler, 88 passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Yuma, AZ. She was born on August 22, 1926 in Picayune, Mississippi.
Evelyn was a homemaker; and business owner of Karin's Bar in Yuma. She attended Grace Bible Fellowship. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved roses. She worked on various crafts. Recently she really enjoyed playing bingo at Emerald Spring and going to musical events. Her favorite music was country and gospel.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Sandra (George) Montague of Snowflake, AZ; step son, Grady (Dolores) Winkler of Crestline, CA; step daughter, Linda Winkler (Mick) Heckman of Fountain Valley, CA; God daughter Jackie (Dick) Clark of Yuma, AZ; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and many Mitchell family, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eula Mitchell; husbands, Donald Condon and Grady Frank Winkler; son Donald L. Condon; grandson, John Foreman and 12 brothers and sisters.
Family Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Johnson Mortuary from 11am to 12pm. Funeral services to follow beginning at 12pm with Pastor Rick Seltzer officiating. Her final resting place will be at the V.A. National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
