Freddie L. Gardner, 86, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his home in Yuma. He was born November 1, 1927 in Farragut, Iowa. Freddie served in the U.S. Army and worked for Allied Chemicals where he retired. After his retirement, he moved to Yuma and was a lifelong member of the VFW.
Freddie is survived by his sister, Lucille Rhoades of Post Falls, ID; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Service on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with graveside service to follow at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma, AZ.
