Gloria Marie Phillips, 75, passed away March 29, 2013, at her home. She was born April 6, 1937, in Grand Rapids, MI.
Gloria was a cashier at FedMart for 12 years and also worked the front and register for Foxworth for 2 years before retiring. She enjoyed camping, Nascar, listening to karaoke, and going to the speedway to watch the races.
She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Phillips-Beshears, and Katherine Johnson; sons, William and Mark Borden; step-son, Mike Phillips; step-daughters, Theresa and Linda Phillips, as well as 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Phillips; son, Terry Borden; father, Harry Ward; step-mother, Dorthy Ward; mother, Velma Tiffany; step-father, Paul Tiffany.
A funeral service will be held at Johnson Mortuary April 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Philip Courtney. Johnson Mortuary will take care of a private burial at a later date.
Her pallbearers will be Jason Beshears, Sam Nelson, Bobby Nelson, Joe Olvera, Albert Dominguez, and Jacob Kimber.
