

Harriet would help anyone in need, she was a strong women and big on tradition. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. She was the coach for YNOT, Double Trouble and Get R Done in the Yuma City League. She also gave back to her community. She was a volunteer fire fighter for the Cocopah Fire and Rescue. She was a Traditional Bird Dancer. She was also an accomplished seamstress. She will be greatly missed.
Harriet is survived by her daughters, Lorena Tambo Phillips of Somerton, AZ, Angelene (Enrique) Cabrales of Yuma, AZ; sons, Brandon (Lorraine) Phillips, Kirby (Selena) Dugan Jr. both of Somerton, AZ; sisters, Winifred Hayes, Lorelei Phillips both of West Cocopah, Somerton; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, Vanessa Phillips, George Hayes III, Woodrow Phillips, Sr., Jimmy Phillips, Tannessa Phillips, Jeremy Hayes, and Loren Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Phillips Sr. and Deloria Phillips; brother, Harry Phillips Jr. and son, Burton Dugan.
Viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel on Friday May 3, 2013 at 2pm with services beginning at 3pm with Ray and June Stillings officiating. Traditional rites ceremony will be at the East Cocopah Cry House in Somerton, AZ on Friday May 3, 2013 at 5pm.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Miller, Abraham Velarde, Mason Sundust, Dale Jim, Enrique Cabrales, Anthony Phillips Jr., Allan Phillips, and Mario Vasquez.
