Jack Hubbard Bails age 87, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Yuma, Arizona. Jack was born in Clarksburg, W.V. He attended local grade schools and graduated High School in 1946. Jack graduated from West Virginia University with a B.A. and M.A. degree in 1951. He joined the U.S A.F. in August of 1951 and served during the Korean War. Sent to Yuma in February of 1952 to the 4750th Air Base Squadron. Jack returned to W.V. to marry his college sweetheart on July 18th 1952, on July 19th they made there journey to Yuma. Jack was discharged from U.S.A.F in August 1955. Jack began teaching History and geography in 1955 at Gila Vista Junior High for 20 years and a vice principal for 13 years at Gila Vista. He retired from education in June 1988.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Dorothy Bails. Jack is survived by his Sister; Bernadine Harris of W.V. Sons; Jack E. Bails (Judy Bails), Jim Bails (Sarah Bails). Grandchildren; Jaime and Craig Bails, Sam, Daniel and SaraLyn Elias, and many nieces and nephews.
