

James retired in 2007 after working as a heavy equipment operator for H&S Development for 27 years in Yuma, Foothills, Arizona. He loved the church that he was going to and he received a prayer shawl one time when he was in the hospital and wore it all the time. He was a wonderful prayer minister and member of Gila Mountain United Methodist Church at the corner of Foothills Boulevard and North Frontage Road.
James is survived by sons; James Bailey (Charlotte) Fregia III of Redlands, California, Robert Fregia of Tucson, Arizona, Ronald (Fay) Wolff of Bismark, North Dakota, Daniel (Brenda) Wolff of Chandler, Arizona, sister; Sylvia (Kenny) Lewis of Yuma, Arizona, granddaughter; Caitlin (John) Wilson of Redlands, California as well 20 nephews and nieces. James was preceded in death by his wife; Joyce Shirlene (Brickey) Fregia of Yuma, Arizona, his parents; James Bailey Fregia Sr., Lufkin, Texas and Hazel Marie Wolff of Mesa, Arizona and his sister; Barbara Jean (Fregia) Godwin of Yuma, Arizona.
Memorial Service on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10 am at Gila Mountain United Methodist Church at the corner of Foothills Boulevard and North Frontage Road. I lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
