Jessie Jesus Walkup

Jessie was a cosmetologist and hair dresser for 35 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for many years.

Jessie is survived by her husband, Walter Walkup of Yuma; her children, Pamela Reno of Forest Falls, CA, Christopher Corcorran of Yuma, Susanne Corcorran of El Centro, CA; step-children, Sandra Neil of Escondido, CA, Sonny Walkup of Los Angeles, CA; over 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Socorro Fernandez of Yuma.

Jessie was preceded in death by her father, Marcos Garcia; mother, Teresa Garcia and her brother, Frank Garcia.

Visitation services will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Thursday, September 22, 2011 between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. with Rosary to follow. Scripture services will begin at noon with Monsieur O'Keefe officiating. Jessie will be laid to rest in Bonita, CA, at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Smith, Larry Smith, Kenneth Smith and Charles Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Cocorran, Christopher A. Angulo II, Michael L. Reno, Michael A. Reno and Andrew M. Reno.

Arrangements under the direction of Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Yuma, AZ.
