Lori Jean Weldon

Lori was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment she had with them. She especially loved her role as Grammy. Lori had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She would make friends everywhere she went.

She is the loving mother of Jason Weldon (McKaila) and Ashley Castillo (Will). The adored Grammy of Angelyce, Destiny, Harper and Brooks; loving daughter of the late Gary and Shirley; beloved sister of Wayne (Cindy) and was preceded in death by her brother Brian. Lori also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends who became like family and her loyal dog, Harley.

Lori was born in Bremerton Washington July 29, 1959. In 1963 her family moved to Hayward, CA where she spent much of her life. She spent two decades working as a dedicated employee for Lucky's. In 2011 she moved to Yuma, Arizona to be with her mother. She loved being out in the sunshine no matter where she was. She loved flowers of all types, especially sunflowers. Lori had amazing artistic talent and loved doing wood work. She enjoyed searching for treasures in thrift stores or at yard sales on the weekends. While in Yuma she spent time learning to golf with her brother Brian. Above all, she loved her children and Grandchildren and the time spent together.

Lori was taken from this earth too soon and will be missed beyond belief.
