Margarita Perez Ramirez, age 82, passed away at home on Saturday, May 24, 2014 surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was born April 14, 1932 in Tanhuato, Michoacan, Mexico, to Gregorio and Maria Perez. She was the second of five siblings. In 1958, Jose Angel Ramirez and Margarita Perez were married. She devoted her time as a homemaker to her dear husband and children.
Margarita was preceded in death by her loving parents and husband. She is survived by her adoring children Ana (Jose) Caballero, Juan (Gloria) Ramirez, Jose (Sofia) Ramirez Jr., Jorge (Maria) Ramirez, and Maria Isabel Ramirez; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and will always be in our hearts.
Viewing will be from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel, 795 W. 28th Street, Yuma, Arizona. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 417 S. 15th Avenue, Yuma, Arizona. Interment will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
