Matias Perales Dominguez

A wake for Matias Perales Dominguez, 85, will be 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Somerton, with rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 9 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at the church. Interment will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Meditation in Yuma, Arizona.

Born Feb. 24, 1929, in San Francisco de Conchos, Chihuahua, Mexico, he entered eternal rest on June 19, 2014, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. He was a citrus nursery horticulturist.

Matias will be missed by his loving family including his wife Consuelo of the home; sons, Jesus Dominguez, Carlos Dominguez, Jorge Dominguez, Mattias Dominguez Jr., Vicente Dominguez, and Ricardo Dominguez; daughters, Alicia Felix, Maria Elba Dominguez, Maria Elena Friedson, and Maria Consuelo Blackwell; sisters, Pasquala Dominguez and Cuca Dominguez; 28 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Leon and Guadalupe Dominguez and his brothers, Antonio Dominguez, Miguel Dominguez, Jesus Dominguez and Jose Dominguez.

Pallbearers include, Jesus Dominguez, Carlos Dominguez, Jorge Dominguez, Matias Dominguez Jr., Vicente Dominguez, and Ricardo Dominguez.
