Tiara as grown up so much, and throughout the years i wish you could see how your next generation is growing. In church, serving God as you have always wanted us all to. he memories of you are fading away, and Im trying my best to keep your memory alive. Some days she wishes she had a little more time with her pop pop.

Its imaginable to think its already bee 10 years without you dad. It been hard thinking you missed my wedding, and to another milestone of missing me finally walk across that college stage and recieve my degree. I miss you desperately. I love you so much, and I know you are resting, and God knows best, but sometimes i do wish i could have you here with me again. Not for anything selfishly, but more so jus to hear you laugh, and hear all those bad dad jokes you had. I didn't appreciate them much until i realized i wouldn't hear you say them again.

I've had the privilege of working with Mike for nearly 29 years. He was a mentor to many, an inspiration to even more, and a friend to all. I reflected aloud many times on Saturday that "Everybody loved Mike." Love and respect to his family temporarily left behind.

I was very shocked to read of Michael's passing. He was a student of mine at Yuma High School many years ago. He returned for a visit when he was in the Navy and brought me a carved wooden  wall plaque from some foreign country (I forget which now.) And he came back again to see me when he was working at the Palo Verde power plant. He was a wonderful student and the type of person that makes teaching so very rewarding. May you take comfort in your loving memories of him.
