Nic and Ilse were my first friends in Phoenix and I have spent the past year getting to know them and growing an unbreakable bond with them both. 
Nic is one of the most kind hearted humans I have ever met, he always put others first and made sure everyone was happy and smiling around him. His smile could literally light up any room and he always had a joke for anything we were talking about. I can remember times we would just joke back and forth and Ilse would just look at us both like we were crazy and just laugh. From trying to cook together, making Nic play drinking games that he said he hated but I knew he was having fun, trips out to the dessert, we did it all. He always opened their home to me and I stayed countless nights in the comfort of knowing I was safe with good friends around me.
Nic, we had some good times and made amazing memories I will never forget. I hope you are looking down and taking care of and sending love to all those you love most. We will all be together again one day, but I make peace knowing you are in a better place with no pain. 
You will be missed and live in all of our hearts forever.  ♥️

I met Nic while working at Clarks and then again at Ecco. We all looked forward to days we got to work with Nic. He made us laugh, was always up for a coffee run, and was always the first to help anyone for any reason. One year when money was tight for my family he found out about a book series my daughter had started reading, and went out and found the rest of the books in the series for her. He was also her friend on Pokemon. My daughter and I are very sad we couldn't make it out for the funeral, so in lieu of flowers we have sent memory bracelets. 
We miss you Nic, you are always in my heart, and in the hearts of every life you touched. Rest in peace friend.

Nick was my one of my best friends growing up. We knew each other as kids growing up on Yuma’s Marine base and later lived down the street from each other in college park as teenagers.  Our families new each other and I will always consider Nick part of my family.  It saddens me to know that my friend I grew up with all these years has passed. Nick was dependable and a good friend with a good heart who always looked out for me and others, he never turned anyone away and was always kind to everyone.  I will always remember all the laughs and good times we spent rolling around the neighborhood.  I will never forget you Nick, and until I see you again my friend, you are and will forever be missed!   

Nic, it is very hard to say goodbye to you.  Thank you for your love and hospitality every time I was in Phoenix and stayed with you guys. I remember that just two months ago we planned that you both were gonna come visit me next in Vancouver 😔

Thank you for always being by my best friend’s side, for keeping her company and making her happy. Thank you for loving her so much, we will always remember you 🤍

Nick was an amazing, kind soul. He was tender in his mannerisms and only wanted others to feel good about themselves. He was upbeat and loving. Showed others that it's ok to fail and keep going. He was a bright star on this earth and I'll remember his kindness always. My condolences to his family and wife.. May he rest in eternal peace. 🙏 

Nic was one of my best friends. Someone I could count on for anything. He was one of kind in so many ways. Nic was the friend who was there for you right or wrong. His passion for people and wanting to help them was so rare to find these days. Not only was he there for me but also my family. He was so special to each and everyone of my siblings , my niece,  and mostly myself.  He will forever have a lasting impression on our hearts.I will miss you dearly my friend. I don’t know how to do it without you, but I know he’s here with us all now like he always has been. The best friend a girl could ask for. Til we meet again.

Words simply can not explain the sadness I feel inside knowing Nic has passed. My homie, friend it was such an honor knowing you and making so many amazing memories! You were one hell of a man and always looked out for your friends and had our best interests at heart no matter what. RIP Nic and fly high, until we meet again my friend. 

Nic was a selfless person that inspired me to be a better person, better man, and better friend.  He didn't always tell you what you wanted to hear, but you at least knew it was truth. Nic had an infectious smile and brought joy to many. 

I'll think about you everyday brother. Thanks for being there for me. Thanks for the laughs. Thanks for the mentorship. You're truly what people call gold. Forever in mind and heart. Rest in paradise my good man. See you on the other side, hopefully sooner than later.

I remember the Legos he gave my Son years ago! My Son still has them. We will all meet again someday! 

I remember with great joy the Boys growing up together in Yuma. I am so sorry for your loss.
