Roberta Diane “Robbie” Ramirez passed away peacefully after 77 years of life in her family home on August 30th, 2024. She passed away with her brother and her nephew Steven at her bedside in the early morning hours after a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Yuma, Arizona on May 11, 1947. She was deeply loved by everyone in her family. When she was younger, she loved chasing her siblings around and playing. She was the daughter of Nellie C. Johnson and Albert Ramirez. All who loved Robbie can remember her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Robbie loved to make necklaces and bracelets out of colorful beads, watch Princess movies, laugh, play with Legos, and care for her dogs. She was cared for in life by her mother and siblings. Her mother never left her side until the day she died.
After her mother, Nellie, passed away, Robbie was dutifully cared for by her brother Joe and his girlfriend Natalie. She is survived by her brother Joe and his sons Jordan, Zach, and Steven Ramirez; her older brother, Michael and his children Kimberly and Brad Ramirez; and her nephew Michael James Murray. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nellie; her father, Albert; her twin sister, Alberta Murray; and her friend Natalie Hiebert.
