Rosa dedicated her life to her family, raising her devoted children Hilda, Leticia, Lucy (David), Oney (Lylia), and Arturo (Sylvia). Her loving influence extended to her grandchildren—Claudia (Nick), Andres (Jon), Christian, Amanda, Marisol (Brandon), Romi, Aaron, Iliana (Tyrone), Diana, Kenny and her great-grandchildren—Jacob, Lorelei, Olivia, Damian, Alexa, Milan, Cairo, and Zealand.
Rosa's nurturing spirit and warmth created a lasting legacy within her family, touching each life she encountered with her kindness, affection and her cooking. Her menudo was legendary as well as her homemade flour tortillas.
