
Ruth received her Bachelor's Degree and was a Registered Nurse at Yuma Regional Medical Center from 1967 to 1998. She attended St. Francis Catholic Church and was a hospice volunteer. She loved her grandchildren, board games, science fiction, animals, nature and was an avid adventurer.
Ruth is survived by her sister, Dorthy Bohan of Peoria, IL; children, Mike Riley of San Francisco, CA, Donald (Donna) Riley of Modesto, CA, Paula (Kurt) Neils of Yuma, David (Cynthia) Riley of Yuma, Mary (Hugh) Hendren of Yuma, and Kay (Eddie) Trujillo of Yuma as well as sixteen grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Riley; son, Steve (Linda) Riley and brother, Robert Seeds.
Services will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 795 W. 28th St. on Thursday, October 13, 2011 with a visitation from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and a Scripture reading at 7:00 P.M. Graveside Service at Desert Lawn Memorial Park Friday, October 14, 2011 at 10:30 A.M.
Pallbearers will be David Riley, Don Riley, Chris Hancock, Nathan Trujillo, Daniel Trujillo, Hugh Hendren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Riley, Matt Riley, Eddie Trujillo, Tom Riley, Noah Riley, James Beltran, Phillip Beltran, Jessica Rainey, Breanna Hendren, Lena Haygood, Kristel Hendren, Danielle Riley, and Megan Trujillo.
