

Sadye Lucille Blair, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother Lucille Blair, 88, passed peacefully from this life to her heavenly home, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Memorial Services will be held at 12 noon March 15, 2014 at Calvary Temple of Christ, 3726 East County 13th Street in Yuma.
Viewing will be held at Johnson Mortuary, 14155. First Ave, Friday, March 14, 2014 from 5-8PM. Memorials may be directed to her church Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church, 281 W. 24th Street, Suite 132, Yuma, AZ 85364.
Her soft, sparkling aura, unwavering faith in God and gentle guidance will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Lucille was born in Yuma on January 25, 1926 to Ernest and Sadie Bristow. She graduated from Yuma High School and attended Arizona Teachers College (NAU). She and her husband E.A."Smokey" Blair were married for 50 years and had four children.
Lucille treasured her relationships with her family and friends and was active in her church community. Bible Study, cooking and food, travel and playing Bridge were her among her favorite activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband Smokey, January 19, 1998. Their love for one another and devotion to each other and their children set a standard only few can achieve. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Townzen (David), Stephen Blair (Linda), Carolyn Maehling (David), and Allyson Sprague (Richard); eight grand children, and five great grand children.
She will always be loved and remembered for providing a home with love laughter and friendship.
