

Shirley was born Shirley L. Inman on July 10, 1953, in Ellensburg, Washington. She later made her home in Somerton, Arizona, where she built a life centered on love, family, and kindness.
She dedicated many years of hard work before retiring from FedEx Freight. Shirley also had a deep passion for helping others and generously gave her time as a volunteer for many organizations, including the Red Cross, CERT, Ham Radio, and the American Legion. Her commitment to service and her willingness to support those in need made a lasting impact in her community.
Outside of her career and volunteer work, Shirley found her greatest joy in spending time with her family—especially baking with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Shirley was known for her warm and joyful spirit. She was always happy, and her contagious smile could brighten anyone’s day. Her loving nature and generous heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Martin Dalton; her daughter, Dawn Dalton; and her son, Thomas Dalton. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: David Tillery, Amy Billings and her husband Justin Billings, Crista Tillery and her partner Manny Nunez, Annalyn Dalton, Emily Dalton, Thomas Dalton Jr., and Alyson Hamilton; as well as her great-grandchild, Jaxon Billings, and unborn great-grandchild, Naomi Nunez. She also leaves behind her brother Gerry Inman, two sisters, Jody Weber and Tracy Madison and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dotty Inman, and her sister, Ann Inman.
Shirley’s legacy of love, laughter, service, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
