Sylvia Marie Magnusen

Sylvia Marie Magnusen (Ramirez)was born in Yuma, AZ on February 26,1962 to Robert and Frances Ramirez.

Sylvia was Married to her beloved husband Wayne Magnusen for 20 years. Sylvia was a Mother to Jessica Marie Gonzalez. She raised her daughter with love and devotion.

Sylvia worked For Yuma County as a Community Health Worker for 35 years. She then went on to focus on her passion of breastfeeding education and Became a Lactation Consultant for YRMC sharing her knowledge with New-Moms and educating Nurses. Sylvia’s favorite hobby was definitely shopping. But most of all she loved spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her Daughter Jessica Marie Gonzalez, Grandchildren: Daniel Anthony Miller, Domonik Lee Miller, Aceana Marie Miller, Juan Gabriel Martinez III, Abel Noah Martinez. Great Grandchildren: Alaïa Y Miller, Dailen James Miller.

Aside from the children she doted on Sylvia is survived by her beloved husband Wayne Anker Magnusen, Mother Frances Ramirez. Sisters: Kathy Garcia, Michelle Ramirez, Victoria Ochoa and several Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at Johnson Mortuary

Rosary 7:00pm-7:45pm

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday.
