Veronica Hernandez was born to Richard and Luz Esthela Hernandez on May 21, 1977, in Salinas, California. She attended Desert View High School in 1993. In 1987, she was the crowned Queen of Cinco de Mayo in Greenfield. She attended Barbazan Modeling School in San Jose in 1988. Then graduated from the Allure Career College Beauty School in Tucson, Arizona to become a nail technician in 1993.
She married Jose Escobar Lopez in 2006, where they lived together in Yuma, Arizona ever since. Veronica is survived by three daughters: Dana De La Rosa, Elizabeth Lopez, and Sophia Escobar Lopez; along with her husband, Jose Escobar Lopez, her father and mother, Richard and Luz Esthela Hernandez, and her brother Ricardo Hernandez.
Veronica brought so much joy and happiness to everyone around her. She was continuously thinking of others through her generosity. Her unique sense of humor brought, so much laughter to her family and friends through the jokes or commentary she made, for she was incredibly quick-witted and sharp. From her infectious laugh to her gorgeous smile, she could move an entire room with her presence. Her self-confidence radiated from her charismatic spontaneity.
Veronica had an immense love and passion for everything Disney. She passed that same appreciation of the Disney magic to all of her children. Veronica was incredibly proud of her daughters; wanting them to continue reaching for the stars and to never give up on their dreams; telling them to keep striving each and every day, in order to make their dreams come true. Holding these words from Walt Disney close to her heart, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible,” she lived every day to the fullest, instilling that same wisdom into her daughters. We’ll be forever grateful for the beautiful memories we shared together with you by our side.
