

Buddy was born and raised in Yuma and graduated from Yuma High School. He served in the U.S. National Guard. He was the owner of Winn's Gila Center, and the driver for Bruce Church, he also managed Mitch's Bait Shop and the manager of boat storage. Walter was a member of the Elks Club, Yuma Rod and Gun Club.
Buddy is survived by his sons, Bill (Marilyn) Winn, Roger (Beth) Winn, Jack Winn; daughters, Marcia (Kevin) Allin, Mary (Randy) Stout; daughter-in-law, Patti Winn; grandchildren, Carolyn, Ginger, Caden, Todd, Jon, Matt, Jacob, Taylor, Tiffany, Billy, Katie, Bailey, Sandy, Lisa and Genevieve; great-grandchildren, Emily, Autumn, Nigel, Haruto, Uraih, Jacob, Brodie, Nia, Sullivan, Braden and Scarlett.
Buddy was preceded in death his wife, Gertie Keegan Winn; son, Jeff Winn; father, Mertie (Jack) Winn; mother, Fern Shook Winn; sister, Jacqueline Winn Pierpaoli.
Pallbearers are Matthew Winn, Jacob Winn, Caden Winn, Todd Harris, Jon Harris, Taylor Allin and Billy Stout.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 between 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Fueraria del angel Friday March 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. His final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial.
