Celebration of Life for Pearl Robinson Smith 97 is set for 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 16, 2017 at McPeters Funeral Directors with Bro. Warren Jones officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 to service time.
Pearl Mae Robinson Smith, of Corinth MS passed away at the age 97 on the morning of September 10, 2017 in Beaumont, TX. She passed peacefully in her sleep and joined her husband and family in heaven. Pearl was born in the Rienzi/Jacinto MS area to Armanda Jane and Will Robinson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, brothers, sisters and numerous family and friends, as she was blessed with a long and full life. She lived a selfless life and had a close knit family of three siblings Jim, Alice, and Dora Lee. Pearl helped her brothers and sisters raise their children and loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. Later in life she married her husband Lenn William Smith and started a family of her own. Pearl and Lenn had one devoted daughter Nellie Jane Smith Weeks. Pearl retired after 33 years of service at Weavers pants factory and lived a full and godly life as a wife and mother.
Pearl is survived by her daughter Nellie Jane Weeks, her grandson Will Weeks, her granddaughter-in-law Kayla Weeks, and her other children, her nieces and nephews, Polly Whittle, Joyce Bolton, Alford Robinson, and Thurman Robinson. She was aunt, great aunt, and great great aunt to their family members as well as so many others on both the Robinson and Smith family sides.
