Funeral services for Mr. Kevin Byron Miller, 62, of Anniston, will be 1:00 p.m., January 8th, 2020, at Gray Brown Service Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Searle officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. Family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Miller passed away on January 5th, 2020.
He is survived by his daughters', Racheal Gaghagen and her husband Andy, Christine Diggs and her husband Jonathan; sons, Samuel Clayton Miller, Jack Henry Miller; father, Cecil Miller and his wife Sue; brother, Craig Miller and his wife Brigitte; 6 grandchildren, niece, Elizabeth Miller; nephews, Ben Miller, Jon Miller.
Mr. Miller is proceeded in death by his mother, Dolores Miller.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Miller, Keith Adams, Joe David, Byron Preston, Ricky Weems, and Simon Herrera.
Kevin Miller was a top producing media sales and publishers representative and a media group business owner.
Kevin started his media sales career in the late 80’s working with heavy equipment sales advertising representing Vulcan Publishing, Pollard Publishing Group, and American Graphics Group. Kevin helped the launch of Successful Franchising Magazine in 1996 with American Graphics Group. Kevin also brought advertising sales for the first time to the home builder design magazine industry. He established The Miller Group in the 1997 and represented multiple publishers including a 1997-2004 Stevens Media Group in Dallas, TX. Kevin also helped launch Security Products Magazine and Water & Waste Water Products Magazine as well as represented Environmental Protection Magazine, Home Health Products, Environmental Health and Products Magazine. The Miller Group was the top sales producer group from 1998-2003 for Stevens Media.
In 2005 Kevin started Intersect Media and represented Executive Traveler Magazine 2005-2006. In 2007 The Intersect Media Group launched Tailgater Magazine as well as work with The Official NASCAR Members Club, i2i Mobile Marketing, and created media partnerships with the Senior Bowl, The National Hardware Show, The Tailgate Tour, Texas Motor Speedway and other affinity networks. Kevin retired from his business in 2011.
