Robert passed away on October 17, 2020, his home is Wilbur, WA. Bob was born on June 27,
1949 in Medford, OR to William Robert Colvin and Lottie Pearl Colvin. He was raised around
the Pacific Northwest and graduated high school in Hood River, OR. Bob married Connie Lee
Toston on September 10, 1995 in Elko, NV. Bob went to work for multiple telephone companies
and worked for several years in various locations before landing in Wilbur in February of 1999
where he was hired as a telephone technician with Centurytel. Bob is survived by his wife
Connie, his children Tony Colvin, Bobby (Tina) Colvin Jr., Tonya Colvin, and Shannon (Jeff)
Henggeler along with his seven grandchildren. His grandchildren are BJ (Jacquelyn) Henggeler,
Kyle Henggeler, Donovan Colvin, Danaca Colvin, Dakota Colvin, Danielle Crabbs, and Dawson
Crabbs. He is also survived by his siblings Gail Stoneman, Jim Colvin, and Rick (Debi) Colvin,
as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Pearl
Colvin. Bob was a member of the CWA local union #7818. For many years he was a member of
the Upper Missouri River Fur Trading Rendezvous Organization where he was known as
“Buffalo Bob” throughout Montana and North Dakota. Bob loved to fish, and only gave up
fishing because it was hunting season, and then it was back to fishing, he also loved gardening.
The family is working on planning a memorial in the future. Memorial donations may be made
to the Wilbur and/or Creston Ambulance or to Medstar Air Ambulance. Fond memories and
