Fred was fresh out of high school when he joined the U.S. Marine Corp and was in the Vietnam War. He was given a purple heart for the actions and injuries sustained during the war along with multiple other awards for so many things.
Fred went on to devote 35 years to the United States Border and Customs Agency where he had the pleasure of multiple disguises and high speed pursuits. During this time, he married the love of his life Martha Winnet Tenuto. Fred and Martha had a one of a kind love, a special bond that is rare to find.
Fred finally went on to further his list of accomplishments and went back to college and got his doctorate to become a lawyer. However, he never pursued it, and retired officially.
Fred is preceded in death by his beloved wife Martha Tenuto, mother Florence Fratantuono, and his brothers Dennis, Jimmy, and Ronnie.
Fred is survived by his son Paul Winnet and wife Trish, and son Billy Tenuto and wife Caroline; daughters Lisa Marie, Patty Ann, and Noelle Shepherd and husband Bill; sister Florence Brabazon; and grandkids Christian, Tiffany, Kady, Ashley, Nicole, and A.J.
There will be a visitation for Fred on February 25, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. The service will follow at 11:30 A.M.
