On Monday, October 4, 2021, Solomon Reuben Belle, caring and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away with his loving wife, Janay, by his side.
Solomon was born on Monday, May 11, 1987, to Carolyn and Shawn Belle in Chicago, Illinois. Solomon’s family later moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin where he was raised and lived through his late 20’s.
Solomon was a devoted husband and father whose unequivocal love for his family did not go unnoticed. He married his best friend on May 26, 2017. His family were his whole heart and soul. Aside from his passion for being the best family man possible, Solomon was a great friend to many.
Solomon was an amazing storyteller which propelled his love of writing. He was working towards his bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University and was part of the National Society for Leadership and Success (Sigma Alpha Pi). He loved movies, especially quoting his favorites. Because of his love of movies Solomon aspired to be a screenwriter. Solomon was also a huge music fan, the only times he wasn’t listening to music was when he was watching a movie or, when the Bears were playing.
Loved ones would describe him as funny, warm, and with the largest heart. One thing he enjoyed doing for his loved ones was cooking. Solomon had the best sense of humor and was well known for his sarcastic jokes and quick comebacks. He had the greatest gift of lighting up a room by making others laugh.
He is preceded by his mother Carolyn. He is survived by his wife, Janay, his step-son, Ryker, his brothers, Shawn Jr and Shallun, and his father, Shawn Sr. Along with his nieces and nephews; Daveion, Shawn III, Amari, Aniah, Stefano, and Arolyn, who he loved spending time with. Solomon could put a smile on anyones face and was well-loved. He is missed intensely by numerous friends and family and countless community members and classmates.
