Janette graduated from Chillicothe High School then attended Harden Simmons University in Abilene, TX. She started her family in 1955 with the birth of her first son, Tom. She attended Wilshire Baptist Church and was a homemaker while raising her sons. In 1974 she and Don became self-employed by opening her own vending machine business.
Janette was an amazing cook, some of her best dishes included ice-box cookies, chicken tetrazzini and enchiladas. She enjoyed fishing at the lake house, gardening, shopping, traveling and celebrating; whether it was with family and friends at her home or celebrating her anniversary with Don on St. Patrick's Day. Janette was an outgoing, strong-minded woman who was loving, caring and always put others first. She was a master entertainer and story teller who was loved by all.
Janette is survived by her husband, Don Hunt; son Michael White; daughter-in-law Marty White; son Tom White; daughter-in-law Diane White; step-son Jim Hunt; step-son Randy Hunt; step-son Chris Hunt; and step-son Tim Hunt; sister Laura Jane Haynes, brother Jim Thomas and sister-in-law Barbara Thomas; grandchild James White, grandchild-in-law Oretha White, grandchild Coleton White and great grandchild Korbin White.
Janette was preceded in death by; her parents Ebert and Skeeter Thomas and brother-in-law Gordan Haynes.
