Peggy had a passion for kids and helping them learn. She worked to build relationships with even the toughest of students in her many capacities in CFISD. In 2006, Peggy took a job with Sheridan Elementary School, beginning her career with CFISD. In 2010, she found herself on a new adventure, helping to open Emery Elementary. Peggy would then take off a few years to care for her parents, returning in 2018 to Lee Elementary. Peggy made a difference with everyone she touched.
