He was preceded in death by parents, W.H. and Bessie Gremore. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Dalton, and brothers, Harry Gremore and Harold Gremore. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A 1948 graduate of Lilbourn High School, he served his country as a Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force from January 31, 1947 through January 30, 1950. He attended Parks College in Cahokia, Illinois where he earned certification in aircraft repair and maintenance. He was shop manager at the Cape Central Airways until his retirement in 1985. After his retirement he became the owner of River Valley Construction Company.
Jack was an accomplished artist of the beautiful scenery in and around Van Buren and the Missouri Ozark country side.
Jack and his wife Catherine of 67 years, retired in Van Buren where the two of them single handily built their beautiful home in Van Buren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. from 11:00 a.m. until time of Graveside Service at 12:30 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO. with full military honors followed by prayer with Jeff Martin of the Van Buren Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be David Dalton, Robert Gremore, Tommy Lawfield, Gene Mayfield, Harry Wayne Gremore, and Bob Waterson.
