Lillia was born June 29, 1997 in Encinitas, CA; the daughter of Dennis, Gunnery Sgt. USMC (Ret.) and Wanda Jean Velasquez, Wife of Gregory F. Gonzalez and mother of Aubrielle Nicole Gonzalez.
Lillia had a great love of the beaches in California and would love to watch and feed (in her words) the “sea eagles “. She also viewed the ocean from the playground of her elementary school on the base at Camp Pendleton and also loved the city of Oceanside which she considered her hometown. She also loved the many attractions with living on the west coast and always loved being a Californian.
After her father’s retirement from the Marine Corps, the family re-located to Texas when she was nine years old. She attended schools in the Navasota ISD and graduated from Navasota High School in May 2015 where she was a member of the NHS Fang Dancers and Diamonettes.
After graduation she attended Manuel & Theresa’s School of Hair Design and graduated in October 2016. Lillia loved everything that involved cosmetology, while attending the hair design school she met her future husband Gregory F. Gonzalez, and from that moment forward they were always inseparable.
They were blessed with their beautiful baby girl, Aubrielle Nicole Gonzalez on October 28, 2017 and were joined in marriage on November 28, 2018.
Lillia loved to take Aubrielle to the mall where she would run around and play, especially in the hat and shoe stores where she loved to try on many hats. They enjoyed trips to the zoo as a family. They celebrated many Sunday Fundays in their homes.
Lillia was a fashionable person and loved to coordinate and create colors into her attire.
