Helen Mae Adams-Tanquary-Blair, age 77, was born in Yellville, Arkansas on December 10, 1941 and passed from this world on October 30, 2019 at Willow Springs Care & Rehabilitation in Yakima, Washington after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia and organ failure.
Helen worked hard in many different types of jobs since a young age. Her favorite was in finance at Dowty Aerospace in Yakima where she began as a receptionist then eventually moved into the finance department for many years. She then worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She loved being a homemaker and seeing her family grow. She enjoyed music, reading, dancing, gardening and slot machines.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents Winford and Louvada Adams. She is survived by her younger brother Jerry D. Adams and a niece, Tiffany M. Adams. She is also survived by her two daughters, Rhonda Sandino and Robin L. Wilks, her four grandchildren, Jeremy L. Sandino, Christina Y. Sandino-Ramirez, Katie L. Spear and Ronnie J. Grow. She was blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Jayden, Ariana and Dominic Sandino, Xyla Mae Roberts, Tyler and Lily Spear and Levi Grow.
Helen was married in her youth to Ronnie L. Tanquary and later to John E. Blair. Both men held a special place in her heart.
A special thanks to Brookdale of Yakima for the care and support you gave her for five years. Also the staff at Willow Springs Care for the compassion and dignity you gave her in her final month of life.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11:00 am at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Wenas Cemetery in Selah.
