Joanne, who lived in Knoxville most of her life, was a devoted family member, friend and animal advocate. She had a passion for life, with an unwavering fondness for the beach. Always a doting aunt, a caring daughter and sister. She carried an immense joy for country music, but most of all, her loyalty to animals truly captured her capacity of unconditional love- always going out of her way to give a foster animal a home as well as bestowing love to all of her "fur-babies", so blessed to be in her care. A soul taken too soon she will be fervently missed by all who knew her, loved her, and were blessed to cross her path.
Funeral Mass is Friday, Feb. 28th at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, in Knoxville, TN. A private burial to follow.
